{"id":15288,"date":"2025-03-25T13:11:14","date_gmt":"2025-03-25T13:11:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/xislblogs.xtreamlab.net\/slwoods\/?p=15288"},"modified":"2025-03-26T10:50:30","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T10:50:30","slug":"a-tidier-bs5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.slwoods.co.uk\/?p=15288","title":{"rendered":"A tidier BS5"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>It&#8217;s been a good day for a tidier and hopefully more pleasant and liveable BS5.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>For the second week in a row, Bristol City Council had arranged for skips to be dropped at four sites in Lawrence Hill ward for residents to fill with the rubbish that couldn&#8217;t be collected by normal waste rounds. It didn&#8217;t actually turn up until nearly 10 am. She had organised a community litter pick on Stapleton Road for later that morning. I saw them on my way for a late breakfast; they were hard at work and doing a good job near the junction with Easton Way.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Anyway, well done to Bristol City Council and Bristol Waste for arranging some extra resources for tidying BS5 and the community litter picking team. Your efforts <em>are<\/em> appreciated.
