{"id":15397,"date":"2025-04-19T11:16:16","date_gmt":"2025-04-19T11:16:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/xislblogs.xtreamlab.net\/slwoods\/?p=15397"},"modified":"2025-04-19T11:44:33","modified_gmt":"2025-04-19T11:44:33","slug":"space-oddity-the-backlash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.slwoods.co.uk\/?p=15397","title":{"rendered":"Katy Perry&#8217;s space tourism &#8211; the backlash"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>Last week six women &#8211; singer <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Katy_Perry\">Katy Perry<\/a>, civil rights activist <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Amanda_Nguyen\">Amanda Nguyen<\/a>, US TV personality <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gayle_King\">Gayle King<\/a>, aerospace engineer <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aisha_Bowe\">Aisha Bowe<\/a>, film producer <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kerianne_Flynn\">Kerianne Flynn<\/a> and Jeff Bezos&#8217; fianc\u00e9e Lauren S\u00e1nchez &#8211; boarded Blue Origin&#8217;s New Shepard rocket for a frivolous 11 minute flight.
