{"id":2676,"date":"2013-09-07T08:40:40","date_gmt":"2013-09-07T08:40:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/xislblogs.xtreamlab.net\/slwoods\/?p=2676"},"modified":"2013-09-07T08:40:40","modified_gmt":"2013-09-07T08:40:40","slug":"canonical-and-dell-launching-ubuntu-computers-in-1000-shops-in-china","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.slwoods.co.uk\/?p=2676","title":{"rendered":"Canonical and Dell launching Ubuntu computers in 1,000+ shops in China"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.canonical.com\/2013\/09\/05\/canonical-dell-launching-ubuntu-in-china-in-1000-stores\/\">Canonical blog reports<\/a> that Dell and Canonical will be launching Dell machines running Canonical&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ubuntu.com\/\">Ubuntu Linux<\/a> operating system in more than 1,000 outlets in China in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Dell and Canonical will be jointly extending a range of Dell hardware  pre-loaded with the Chinese language version of Ubuntu 12.04 <acronym title=\"Long Term Support\">LTS<\/acronym> across a swathe of major Chinese cities.
