The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apache.org\/foundation\/\">Apache Software Foundation<\/a> (ASF) has now established a <a href=\"https:\/\/mail-archives.apache.org\/mod_mbox\/openoffice-dev\/201609.mbox\/%3Cce0f323b-8a0b-b11e-8419-ac7a9f584185%40acm.org%3E\">recruitment mailing list<\/a> to facilitate their access to the source code. Via the list, newcomers will receive answers to questions and suggestions about their next steps from more experienced developers.<\/p>\n<p>The situation does remind your correspondent of the predicament of one Samuel L.
