{"id":8054,"date":"2017-09-19T11:53:22","date_gmt":"2017-09-19T11:53:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/xislblogs.xtreamlab.net\/slwoods\/?p=8054"},"modified":"2017-09-19T12:09:13","modified_gmt":"2017-09-19T12:09:13","slug":"railway-path-work-day-this-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.slwoods.co.uk\/?p=8054","title":{"rendered":"Railway Path work day this weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/xislblogs.xtreamlab.net\/slwoods\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/sites\/23\/2017\/09\/wsorkday_small.jpg\" alt=\"Work Day poster\" width=\"200\" height=\"282\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-8067\" \/>This coming Saturday 23rd September, <a href=\"https:\/\/eastonandlawrencehill.org.uk\/\">Up Our Street<\/a> will be organising a work day on the Bristol and Bath Railway Path from 10am to 3pm.<\/p>\n<p>Up Our Street will be testing a \u2018Play Zone\u2019 on the Bristol and Bath Railway Path for four weeks to see if small interventions can improve the experience of the path for all users. <\/p>\n<p>Volunteers are needed to get involved with painting and stencilling, cutting back vegetation, litter picking and making a sculpture. Ideas for further possible improvements will also be welcome.<\/p>\n<p>In return volunteers will be offered lunch, tea and a rewarding day in return.
