Your Welsh translates as &#8220;Arse record&#8221; Correct it as DIM MYNEDIAD.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/xislblogs.xtreamlab.net\/slwoods\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/sites\/23\/2018\/06\/morrisons_arse.png\" alt=\"screenshot of tweet\" width=\"590\" height=\"292\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8668\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.slwoods.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/sites\/23\/2018\/06\/morrisons_arse.png 590w, https:\/\/www.slwoods.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/sites\/23\/2018\/06\/morrisons_arse-300x148.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time Anglophone companies have treated Welsh &#8211; a far older language than English &#8211; with the respect it deserves.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, there was comedy train operating company First Great Western, which will have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slwoods.co.uk\/?p=8133\">no Welsh language announcements<\/a> on its services between South Wales and London (<em>even though it manages to embrace both Welsh and English train announcements at Newport station. Ed.<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>Last year there was also Santander, which seems to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slwoods.co.uk\/?p=8113\">have problems with Welsh customers expecting transactions in the vernacular<\/a> despite having a clear Welsh language policy.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, would any Welsh-speaking reader care to ask Morrisons if the &#8220;<em>arse record<\/em>&#8221; will be available on vinyl. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s always good to see Welsh being promoted in Wales.
