If you have the patience to learn them, they can save a lot of time.<\/p>\n<p>For the left guillemet, AltGr+z produces \u00ab.<\/p>\n<p>For the right guillemet, AltGr+x produces \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see, it&#8217;s a lot quicker than using a GUI-based alternative.<\/p>\n<p>* = I&#8217;ve always used a standard <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.sdl.com\/LiveContent\/content\/en-US\/SDL_MediaManager_241\/concept_A9F20DF9433C46FF8FED8FA11A29FAA0\">EN-GB<\/a> keyboard layout.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My first experiences of computing took place before the widespread use of graphical user interfaces (GUIs).
